Podcast Editing Service Agreement & Terms
By engaging with Podcast Streamline (“Service Provider”), you (“Client”) agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Scope of Work
The Service Provider agrees to edit, clean, and produce podcast episodes as requested by the Client.
Services will be performed using the audio files provided by the Client.
The Service Provider does not guarantee outcomes beyond what is reasonably achievable with the quality of the original recordings.
2. Client Responsibilities
The Client is responsible for providing recorded audio files in a timely manner, in commonly used digital formats (e.g., WAV, MP3).
The Service Provider is not responsible for poor recording quality, background noise, distortion, or other issues present in the source material.
The Client is responsible for ensuring they have the legal rights to all submitted content (including music, clips, or third-party material).
3. Editing Limitations
The Service Provider will make best efforts to enhance clarity, reduce background noise, balance levels, and create a professional final product.
However, results are limited to the quality of the audio submitted. Issues such as heavy distortion, clipping, interruptions, or low-quality microphone recordings cannot always be fully corrected.
The Service Provider will not be liable for dissatisfaction caused by limitations of the original audio provided.
4. Delivery & Revisions
Standard delivery times will be communicated at the time of agreement. Rush requests may incur additional fees.
The Client is entitled to [X] round(s) of reasonable revisions per episode. Excessive or out-of-scope revisions may result in additional charges.
5. Payment Terms
Payment must be made according to the agreed pricing package or per-project rate.
Late payments may result in delayed delivery or suspension of services.
All payments are non-refundable once editing work has commenced.
6. Intellectual Property
The Client retains ownership of their podcast content.
The Service Provider retains ownership of editing templates, processes, and tools used in production.
7. Confidentiality
The Service Provider agrees to keep all Client content confidential and will not share or distribute files without written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service Provider is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the services.
The Service Provider’s maximum liability is limited to the total amount paid by the Client for the specific project.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice.
Work completed prior to termination must be paid in full.
10. Agreement to Terms
By submitting audio files and engaging services, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
